How Aireadio works

1

Ask about anything

Search a book like Atomic Habits, a topic like behavioural economics, or a plain question. Aireadio finds the right subject and prepares a script.

2

Press play

The script is read aloud in a natural voice. Follow along with synced on-screen text, adjust the speed, and pick the voice you like.

3

Go deeper

Choose a quick 5-minute guide, or a multi-part deep dive that walks through a book's ideas one chapter at a time.

What you can explore

Books & audiobook-style guides

Browse curated shelves — trending titles, personal growth, big ideas & science, business, timeless classics — or search for any book. Each book has a Quick guide (a short spoken introduction) and a Deep dive (a longer, multi-episode walk-through of its key ideas). We write in our own words and link out to retailers if you want to buy the book itself.

Ideas & the day's reading

A community section brings together reading-and-ideas features and discussion, so you can listen to what people are talking about and follow threads that interest you.

Focus & sleep sounds

Wind down with calm soundscapes and guided breathing, or use ambient sound to focus while you read and listen.

Made for listening

Aireadio remembers where you left off, keeps a short listening history so you can replay, and works as an installable web app (PWA) so it feels like a native app on your phone or desktop.

Frequently asked questions

Is Aireadio free?

Yes. You can search books, listen to guides and deep dives, browse the shelves, and use the reading companion for free. Some features have daily limits to keep the service sustainable.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Aireadio runs in your web browser. If you like it, you can optionally "Add to Home Screen" to install it as an app — but that's entirely optional.

How is the spoken content made?

The spoken guides are prepared with the help of large language models and read aloud using text-to-speech. Content is informational and written in our own words; we don't reproduce copyrighted text. Please verify important facts independently.

Which voices can I use?

Aireadio can use the natural voices already built into your device or browser. On iPhone/iPad and Android you can download higher-quality voices from your system settings; on desktop browsers, online "natural" voices are available in the voice list.

Can I buy the actual books?

Yes — book pages include links to retailers and audiobook stores. These are affiliate links, which may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Does Aireadio show ads?

Aireadio is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense, and by affiliate links. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.

How do I contact you?

Email [email protected] with any question, request, or feedback.

About us

Aireadio is an independent project built to make reading and learning something you can do with your ears — while commuting, walking, cooking, or resting your eyes. We believe good ideas should be easy to reach, and that listening is one of the most natural ways to learn.
